you're too young to be this empty

I am still alive. There is just a thing called school that is taking up 90% of my time.

Oh, the joy of having graphite all over your hand. A sneak peak of the Paul McCartney drawing I did last week. It’s mostly finished now, just need to work on the hair.

But on a lighter note, we went to Newcastle and here are yesterday’s purchases. Got the Illustration Now!: Portraits for only £5 and this Shore Leave canvas backpack from Urban Outfitters! I love the bag so much (IT’S A THING OF BEAUTY AND I DON’T EVEN CARE THAT IT’S NOT REAL LEATHER) and I was so happy that I got the book for a fifth of its original price because I’ve been eyeing it since I saw it in Leeds a few months back.

Also got another LP, Smile by The Beach Boys, but I’m having second thoughts on keeping it. It was an impulse buy and it’s apparently a collector’s item but you can’t really treasure it if you’re not a big fan to begin with. They might grow on me though the same way I used to not be able to stand The Beatles or not even have any clue whatsoever about them but all of you know that that’s no longer the case now. Hmm, I don’t know. If I can sell it for a good price then I’d be happy to let it go. If not, I could try and return/exchange it and if that doesn’t work out, I’d have to like them somehow. We’ll see.

By the way, despite what most people say about how bad it is up north, Newcastle is a nice city and their record stores are amazing. THEY HAVE BON IVER I CAN NOT BELIEVE I MISSED IT WHILE I WAS BROWSING I WANT TO CRY.
